Get Behind Us
We want to make our proposals to operate regular direct rail services between Harrogate and London King’s Cross a reality. The introduction of such services will finally address the lack of a direct line connecting areas in the north of the country to the capital and also relieve over 100,000 long road journeys every year, with underserved station stops proposed between Harrogate and London King’s Cross.
This new proposal aims to remove the inconvenience of having to change trains during journeys and provides a convenient and reliable service. Our experience also shows that the introduction of such services, operated by us, will provide a boost to the economy and increase levels of tourism in Harrogate and other areas served along the route.
We are not proposing to abstract revenue from other operators. We aim to create and develop new markets in areas that have been underserved for far too long. If our experience elsewhere is anything to go by what we find is that the service we offer helps to raise the bar in rail travel and as a consequence all rail operators around us see their own services grow.
